Hi all,

We've uploaded a patch for the Windows version, a new Mac .DMG file that consolidates today's update with the last previous patches so you now only have one "installer" to download instead of DMG + 2 patch files, and we put up a new tar.gz archive. All of these new files will update your game to version 2.0.6 so please download the file of your choice in order to get the latest and greatest version of the game :)

Thanks! Patch resulted in an error for me on Windows 7, though. Going to try to reinstall fresh and patch to see if it helps.

edit: A reinstall + patch worked fine, so it may well have just been an issue with my installation and not with the new patch. :)

JudasIscariot: Fixed BHM causing spaghetti monster.
Gee, I would like to see a photo :)
Does anybody have a link to video with this error?

Is it that kind of mistake which was prevalent in Fallout 3 / New Vegas? - sometimes, especially after death, NPC would get stuck in the environment and started flapping uncontrollably, often stretching its limbs to ridiculous lengths, etc.

JudasIscariot: We've uploaded a patch for the Windows version
Question, for Windows, in order to have the latest, just installing the latest installer isn't enough: I need to install the patch on top of it. Is that it?

(I don't have the game already installed.)
In my Library for Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut under My Bonus Content I am seeing:

soundtrack () 79 MB
soundtrack () 234 MB

I presume that the first one is MP3 and the second is FLAC, but some labels are probably suppose to be there.

I just went through my other games and I'm not seeing this sort of glitch on any of them.

Generally, yes; and even for the few (if any) where the main installer is up to date it doesn't hurt to run the patch as well, so it's generally best to get and run both.

Once you do have the game installed, you only need the latest patch in the future if there are more updates. GOG generally makes them universal, so they should work regardless of which old version from GOG you have. Only get the main again in that case if there are problems with patching.

That's right, first is MP3 and the other is FLAC, only in this case they each have different songs. The mp3 folder has Shadowrun Returns/Dead Man Switch/Dragonfall music, the flac folder has Director's Cut exclusive songs.

Yeah, that makes sense.

+ you.

CastorVega: The link reads Patch 2.0.6 but Patch 2.0.3.4 is only downloadable.
That's just GOG's freaky deaky patch version system - by which I mean, GOG has their own version numbers for games/patches which hardly ever (or never?) match with the actual patch.

You've probably already figured this out by now if you've downloaded it, but 2.0.3.4 should correspond to patch 2.0.6.
I can't get Dragonfall Director's cut to work on my rig. Can anyone help.

I just downloaded Shadowrun(2.2.0.20) and Dragonfall(2.2.0.10) on 12/17/14 as well as the patch(2.2.1.11). Installing and running the base game works fine. The patch is installed. However, when I try to install Dragonfall, it says it doesn't work with this version of the core game. Please see photos.

^^^^ For the above message I've figured it out. I just needed to purchase the free upgrade to the Directors Cut with my coupon for owning Dragonfall. Once I did that. I could download the Director's Cut and use that. I guess somebody else mentioned it somewhere that once that came out, the original expansion of Dragonfall doesn't seem to work with Shadowrun Returns.
