JudasIscariot: I am not :) Just letting you guys know who to yell at about this update :P

sinder87: New rule of GOG forums:

Thou shall not yell at based forum-god Judas
Just yell constructively, wouldn't want to get all fat and complacent :P

Atlantico: Ugh, I really don't want to contact customer support just to have them telling me to refresh my account which I have done 5 times already...

JudasIscariot: Then don't :)

All I can say right now is that we are working on getting this issue fixed once and for all for everyone :) Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA but I hope it will be very soon. The silver lining in this cloud is that we do know who is to blame for this and that would be...me as I tried to take a shortcut where I shouldn't have with the intent to get out an update that everyone's been waiting for so long.
Does it have something to do with the new Galaxy-Update?
It´s awesome BTW, my first comment through GalaxyCommunity/ Forum Stuff! :)

(I was not asked but I'd like to answer anyway)
The shelf is nice but it would look more real if there were also wood in the background like in the library.

Then you would't see all that nice background art our designers make :)

Cannot wait to see them...
...but since you obviously have contact with the GOG designers please tell them to fix the "design" for the newer GOG installers. The buttons and font are absolutely ugly on them and they were nice before. I will never understand why they changed it. The way the installer looks with those "quick and dirty" buttons probabply never even was the work of a designer so maybe they can fix this. Really, I am not (completely) kidding: just compare an older installer to a newer one.
Thank you so much. Long awaited update.
Aaron Melcher from Knockout Games who worked on the Linux version of Shadow Warrior remake commented on porting DX11 features to OpenGL:

The port was started by Edward Rudd (@outoforder_cc) who handed it off to me late last year. Most of my time was spent porting the DX11 renderer to OpenGL. The linux and mac port should be 1:1 to the DX11 version graphically. The game isn't using any features specific to DX11 so I was able to get away with just OpenGL 3.2+ (comparable to DX10).
I'd prefer an OpenGL version on Windows too, since they've already ported the thing to OpenGL.

There's no really good reason to waste development resources on DX when you have to make OGL versions too. Just make it all OGL, Windows works fine with OGL.
Got an idea: Cannot somebody construct one of these cool directDownload-Links for GOGDownloader that helped in the past when a game didn´t sbow up in library?

I´m talking about stuff like this:
gogdownloader://shadow_warrior/installer_win_de
(this would be the one for the )

Great idea and I would help you out here if I could. Unfortunately the game still does not show for me (it's weekend and the time to test it would be here - *sigh*) so I don't have a link for the DX11 version. Hmmmm .... I might refresh my account again ... and again ... and again ... and again ... no - does not work ;)

Guess we´ll have to wait till monday...
So, just to be clear, the version I just finished downloading that is labeled as 1.5.0 is not really version 1.5?
I don't mind waiting but it should not have been labeled 1.5.0.
Still nothing ? :/
