So I first installed Shadow Warrior 2 offline and played until completion of the first run, I didn't pay mucbh mind to the achievements until I realized every time I beat a trial or killed enemies skewered with grip of darkness the same achievements would pop from the in-game notifications, complete with the chime).

So recently I decided to launch Galaxy before launching the game and turn on "achievements tracking" in Galaxy.
Sure enough my achievements stopped popping repeatedly, but I then discovered the achievements for building your character past a certain level would not pop (my main file if LVL99 according to the save selector and still the Senpai (develop to level 10) is greyed and marked as "locked".
Some of the names mini-bosses I killed also never unlocked the achievement.

Do I have to restart with online profiles or do I have to reinstall the game through Galaxy and launch it through Galaxy?
Or are those buggy for anyone else?

I don't care that much about achievements but it's frustrating when they don't unlock even if you have the requirements.

Figured it out, I removed the "default" folder from my save folder, restarted the game and got I skill point through filling the XP bar, it unlocked then.

Once I ran the game without Galaxy it asked me what profile it should use and I told it to use the Galaxy profile.

Now for the XP related achievements I might have to use my second save, but that's okay, now that I know the mechanics of the game it'll be quick to catch up.
