i have the exact same problem as JJL3, (OS windows 7 64 BIT Ultimate) but made a new topic cause not shure if solved topics get revisitted

and i searched the trouble shooting pages and tried the following.

i downloaded the patch from the website i asumed the 2.13.2 one, extracted it but i still have the same issue.
tried competibilitie solution Windows 95/98 256 collors etc
setting windows 7 to windows classic,
alt tabbing out and in, pressing on credits but everything results in strange visuals/collors
also tried the creation of the BAT file but none of it seems to work for me

anyone got any other idea?


EDITE: with the 2.14.3 patch installed from 7kfans i can play but only in a 800x600 window on a 1920x1080 screen, if i ALT enter then i get the strange collors again, anyone know some more?

The version of my game is 2.14.4
Are you perhaps missing the latest patch?

I haven't had the colour issue since the latest patches, but a very strange trick for me in the past was to: Right click the desktop, open "Display Settings" . Simply open Display Settings, and leave the window open. Then launch the game.

For some bizarre reason, I never got the inverted colours thing happening when the Display Settings window was open in the background.... Not sure if this still works.
