This is one of those games that I look back on with longing. Whereas modern JRPG's (Not that this is made in Japan, but it shares some design similarities) feature unlikeable cliche characters, poor voice acting, and writing that makes 'Twilight' look good, this game is more reminiscent of the SNES greats like Chrono Trigger and FF6. A world with fascinating design and well-developed history, a cast of diverse and enjoyable characters, clever writing, wonderful voice acting, and an epic story, all make this game more than worth the $5.99.
Play it, love it.
