I receive the following crash/ error after playing Screamer in SVGA mode for a short while:

VGA mode seems to work fine.

560ti
W7 x64

I think it is best to contact support for this one.

Has anyone found a solution for this? For me this crash always happens when I am driving the Tiger with in-cockpit view on Lake Valley and coming first place.

This is interesting. I reinstalled Screamer and my in cockpit Tiger driving Lake Valley crash is no longer happening. The game still crashes randomly but not at the same spot twice.

I have some freezings and crashes when on a different cars! But the view is standart and problems is on diffferent races and modes. What da hell?!?

In fact, i couldn't finish a championship. Had crashes on random races.

The game consistently crashes for me few minutes after starting to play with dosbox 0.74 under linux. However, when using the latest SVN build of dosbox instead it is far more stable (though still not 100%, I still had one crash). I completed the championship while playing in VGA mode. So I recommend everyone who has problems with it to try the SVN build.

I had the same problem and could solve it.

Solution:

Go to "options" in the Game-Menu and turn off music.
I did never had any crashes since.

The solution is to start the game with startl.exe not starth.exe

This is only neccessary for track 5. So before driving track 5, exit the game and execute startl.exe. Finish track 5, exit the game, execute starth.exe go on with higher resolution

starth.exe = high resolution
startl.exe = low resolutiom
