This game is primarily aimed at those who enjoyed the classic point-and-click adventure titles of the past. While bringing nothing new to the genre it does a good job to service the niche market.
As the title suggests the story is the standard road adventure, boy meets girl, boy helps girl meeting unique characters along the way, Some characters are more memorable then others with voice acting good overall. The story and dialogue does touch on some adult themes more then most American made adventures I've played, nothing too serious but it doesn't censor itself to the player. While there is a sequel the ending closes the story nicely .
One of the unique features of this game is the graphics which are 3D rendered to look drawn and more cartoonist. This technique does a good job at capturing shadows and lighting allowing the cut scenes to be visual appealing.
Puzzles are standard inventory, mixing objects and dialogue based with dreaded pixel hunting and backtracking included. You always have a sense of what to do if not necessarily how to do it which may lead to trial and error.
If your a fan of the genre and frustrated with the lack of quality adventure games in the last few years then this game is worth a look. Just keep expectations reasonable and the game is enjoyable.
