Maybe I am missing something, but I just do not get what the publisher did with this game: AFAIK, there is no way to upgrade Regalia to the Royal edition, not even purchasing the expansions separately. That leaves purchasing the whole Royal edition as the only way to get the improvements, even if you already bought the game, Regalia. Seriously?

Might someone knowledgeable let us know if the publisher is going to remedy the situation? Or they do believe that we are just going to buy the game again?

i would be curious too. I doubt its the game dev. this is usually a gog issue
I would wish for an upgrade system too.
+1 - I bought the game in 2018 and would also like to see an upgrade option. Even during the current sales we are just offered to buy the game again while for new customers the difference between the normal and the royal edition is just 1 euro!

I hope somebody at gog.com will listen (or maybe read this) and offer an upgrade option .... we have already paid enough for the game when it came out, it would only be fair to get a very affordable upgrade option now!
The problem may be that the Royal Edition is one new installer - so not Base Game plus 2 DLCs as usually,
i.e. downloading 3 parts - while currently it is just one part.

Nevertheless GOG should provide a reasonable priced update for gamers having the base game ...
maybe a ticket at GOG could clarify this and may help in getting a solution.

I have bought the Royal Edition and as I selected Standard Edition in the Wishlist this entry was not deleted
after purchasing the Royal Edition - which is wrong as it contains the base game, of cause.

So GOG created a lot of confusion the way they provided the 2 DLCs ... which could be initiated by Devs
if they provided the Royal Edition in one package ...

But I think this should be solved by GOG ...
I picked up the complete version for $4.99. I guess there's an upgrade option now...
