The GoG version of the game... dose anyone know if you need to install any / all of the patches on the Sierra Help website?

I remember that QG4 particularly needed the patches but Sierra Help lists the diskette version and the cd version as separate.... so not sure which to use.. or if I need to use them at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

All of the patches, even the NewRisingSun patches, are in the GOG version. "The Collector" on the Quest for More Glory forums is the one who compiled the versions for GOG, and when patching questions came up, he stated they have already been fully patched and are ready to go.

In other words, you don't have to do anything. Just install and play. The patches are already in.

You may need to DELETE a couple of patches though, or QFG3 will just crash when you attempt something. Granted that "something" will get you killed anyway, but it's probably more interesting to see the death than to have the game crash:

Those are some savage glitches/crashes. As much as people have said QFG4 was buggy, QFG3 was just BUGGY.
