The (64 bit) game is there to be downloaded along with 4 patches. Do all 5 things need to be downloaded or what? I like GOG but I do wish they were a lot better at explaining things like this.

First you need to know what version of the game you have installed.

I take it that means install the game and then see what version it is. Would be easier if GOG just listed which version it has available for download. Thank you for your reply which seems to clarify the position.

the game file downloads will always be the latest released on GoG. the patch files are to update your current installation.
