South Park does almost the exact same stuff and it's OK?

I've seen some complaints of the game involving the stereotypes it uses and how offensive they are. The thing is that even fricking Family Guy uses those stereotypes and that show is much more tame than South Park.
The people that are saying that are probably expecting a game with the name of Postal by a developer called Running With Scissors to be a dignified game that can be taken seriously. :P

But in all seriousness, it is probably because it is a video game which is an easy target for criticism like that unlike most TV shows.

Personally, I think it's because the game was pretty crap.
I mean, the AI sucked, the graphics were poor, and everything was generally flaky.

Or maybe because you could piss on Gary Coleman.
(And people did criticize South Park)

I found the A.I. to be pretty great in my opinion. They interact/react to things in a lot of ways.
I agree. Also the game is not a 2011 game. The graphics are not up to Skyrim. Not sure about what is meant by flaky? Great humor it has.

The easy and real answer is people are retarded. Plain and simple.

Yeah, sure. However, try a nonviolent playthrough were you just run away from trouble.

See how long it takes until the police flags you as hostile and start shooting you, or the protest group to shoot you, etc.

Stuff just didn't work as advertised and that might have soured people on the game.

(sorry about the really late reply)

Also, it was a video game and it didn't preach any morals, unlike South Park that WAS very controversial, but was picked up by Comedy Central, and they have enough lawyers to make litigation moot. In addition, this was before the US courts ruled that games fell under the first amendment.
