Is there a way to get normal descriptions of the spells, because what is on the circles doesn't make sense to me as to what the spells do?

I have duplicates of a couple of the spells, 6 and 7, what should I be doing with these?

There should be descriptions of what the spells do after the CoZ passages in the item description. As for the duplicates, try teaching them to another mage, if you have one; the game suggests that the extras are intended for Dak'kon, but I'm not sure if you need to give them to him to memorize.

Thank you for the reply. Apparently you have to actually copy the spell into your book before you can see the actual description, I suppose I should have done that but I was so blitzed by the info dump while opening the circles.
