Alright let me explain. Right after I got into the Lower ward (I just lost Morte) I noticed that traveling to other parts of the city was now done via the world map now. So I went to the buried village because I wanted to see what happened to Pharod after the ghost thing's killed him in the cut scene. So I went to his court, blah, blah, blah, you get the idea, anyway, when I tried to leave the village the map screen didn't come up nor did it come up when I tried to tried to leave the Trash warrens to Ragpicker's square. Now here's the kicker, You know the portal you have to throw the junk into? I don't have any junk, nor can I find any. How do I get out?

tl;dr I don't have any junk so I can't leave.

Can you kill yourself somehow? Pick a fight and fail to defend yourself?

There should be several locations where you can find or even buy junk. Otherwise you'll have to kill yourself like Mackie suggested.

Wouldn't that just send you back to Marta's little workshop? That's where I always ended up anyways. Also there should be some junk in the first area TNO accessed the Trash Warrens by. I recall there being a couple pieces in the northern area past Anomali.

EDIT: Indeed, there are two pieces of junk to the room right of Anomali by the entrance to the Trash Warrens.
