All right, after some hard time getting everything to work as intended a new error popped up.
My mouse pointer leaves a trail after itself. It does however vanish if I "touch" an option in a dialogue or some other interactive object.

I have every mod installed that was recommended. My custom resolution is 1920x1080.
Could that be the cause?
