I don't want to install it if it's some overpowered item that I can't get rid of.

If i'm not wrong its only the space piggy pet and a ring that can heal small amount 2 times per rest. I never used it tbh.

Nothing overpowered. The pig is a joke, but if you think about it it kinda fits the story. The ring may make a difference once a few dozens of fights (on hard difficulty).


POSSIBLE SPOILER:
Think of the pig as a imaginary spirit-pet of the Watcher (who is apparently getting a bit crazy).

By the way, are two packs: Cloak of obsidian (Just a cloak), a wyvern (Erh, wurn) as pet and the ring and the pig.
Truly, nothing different, the ring is useful at the beginning but the advantage is truly minor.

I think is a bug with the pets from the kickstarter edition and the wyv... erh wurn (Black), I think those 2 are with the same tag of the normal pig you can get in the game.

Eder has a line for the black dog you can get in the first town (Truly, Eder loves animals)

The pre-order ring's most useful property is that you can sell it to Heodan for almost 1600 copper, which is a very nice boost in the beginning and pretty useful for solo players who want to get the summoning item from the Gilded Vale blacksmith as soon as possible since the patch jacked up its price.

Yeah, Heodan pays much more for things than any other merchant I have encountered. I usually sell almost all my stuff to him.

I confirm using the wyv.......wurm :D
I'll try other pets then, just for the change of scenary, maybe the black hound as you suggested
