I have Pillars of Eternity that I haven't played in a while - I am still at version 1.05, and I see that a patch for 3.02 is available, Is there a way to go from the version I have to the latest without re-downloading the entire thing, or do I have to do that?

Thanks,

Brian
You can install Galaxy, logging into it, detect the installed game on your harddrive and let Galaxy do the updating, but... Changes were so extensive it'd probably end up downloading pretty much the entire game anyway. And no, you can't access the older patches sadly.

Thanks! I had to do some running around, so I started Galaxy updating it, then went out - I'm now at 3.02!

Alternatively, if you want to keep the game files on your computer (the latest install files that is), and have it all patches up.

1. Uninstall any DLC and the game itself. However, chose the option to keep the save files during the uninstall process.
2. Download the latest install files, including the patches.
3. Install the game, and the DLC. Update the game and DLC. Play.

I did the process through GOG Galaxy - took a while, but that was okay since I wasn't here, and it worked fine. I'm now at 3.02 with all DLC and savegames intact.

Thanks!
