The game will not open on screen after opening the .exe. To be clear, the game starts, a blank window opens, and I hear the main menu music. This would mean the game is open yes? But when I click on the window, nothing is there. The game is on, the window is open, but I have no way of seeing the game. I have the resolution in windowed mode if that helps. Any way to fix this?

Haven't used windowed, but I generally hit Escape to skip the credits and get the menu up.

That isn't the problem. I open the game and it wont let me have control, but the game is clearly on and working if I mouse over the window.

have you tried unwindowing? Running it full-screen?

I have a similar issue, recently (on Thursday May 24) i am suddenly unable to load any saved game. I can load the menu screen select the game, the load screen starts and then transitions to black screen with the gauntlet icon. Then nothing stays black and does not cut over or crash just freezes there black and taunting.

The game won't let me in the window to do that. Theres no window when it boots up and no way to access the menu. I alt tab and it shows the game is on, but when I click on that window nothing comes on screen. Where should we be sending crash reports by the way?

Still having this issue and its weird. Its like the game isn't actually open when I boot it, but it exists if I mouse over it on the toolbar.

Got my money back and throwing this game in the bucket list.
