Hi,

for every game I bought on GOG, there where some additional downloads (handbook, maps, avatars ... ...)

Is for PoE II nothing available?

Greetings Robert

Hi there, everything is there, it's under Backups and goodies tab.
Hi Edrahil,

So, now I found this tab,but there ist no handbook, no Map ...

Really no Goodies for this great Game?
Hello! Did you buy the standard version of Deadfire? You need to own either Deluxe or Obsidian version to access the extra goodies.
In the good old days a manual wasn't an extra goodie :(
I don't disagree with you, but in this case it's more of a lorebook than it is a manual.

And, the "lorebook"/guide is essentially useless for gameplay. I. personally, would have preferred a D&D style user's guide, one that delineates the classes, the important attributes for that class, the spell list and what the spells actually do. Some info on which consumable should be used for 'swollen eye', for example.

You can download the manual at:

https://support.obsidian.net/article/29-where-can-i-find-the-game-manual

The important attributes are not listed for each class in the manual, but I wroten them down in the following 'table':
The first numers are the essential stats, the second are the recommended ( Barbarian: essential strength and consitution, recommended dexterity and intellect)

Barbarian: 1,2 / 3,5
Chanter: 5,6 / 2
Cipher: 3,4 / 1,5
Druid: 5,6 / 1
Fighter: 2,6 / 1
Monk: 2,3 / 1,6
Paladin: 6 / 1,2,5
Priest: 5,6 / 1,3
Ranger: 1,4 / 3,5
Rogue: 1,4 / 3,5
Wizard: 1,5 / 3,4

1: Might
2: Constitution
3: Dexterity
4: Perception
5: Intellect
6: Resolve

Hope this helps! And have fun with the game...

Thank you, bozbar!

While it doesn't answer all of my questions, it has given me one piece of information I lacked -- "ramming". I wish it had been more explicit on naval battles & the ship interface (as in which ship is yours and how do you manage to get within ramming distance)….

Well the game does have a map and a "wkipedia" + bestiary ingame. So unless you need it out of the game, this shouldn't be a problem. The game has a tutorial entry for every single aspect of the game.
