It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

This game in its current state is not playable in 32 bit XP. It's obvious they started making it for XP, but then they got sloppy and let the game get too big to fit into the 2GB allocation XP makes for it. It will run for about an hour and then it will crash on a loading screen. You can pound your head against it and you will sometimes get it to load but it will crash about 8 times out of 10 once you get into the first town.

Really sad the devs couldn't figure out how to leave some of the content on the hard disc and load it only when necessary. Come on guys. Offload some of the content and load it dynamically!!! Give us a patch so we can play this thing!

Or how about you join the 21st century and upgrade to a 64bit operating sysytem. Why should the devs support a legacy operating system? not even microsoft themselves are supoorting xp anymore!
This ^^
YEAH dude they are right.

Besides, the game is much more enjoyable on a modern system with:

-a bigger screen
-SSD with much quicker loading times and quicker boot times
-less computer noise

there are plenty of reasons to upgrade really. I think it's time for you people to move to new systems.
three trolls in just one thread with only three replies yet, that must be a new record.
There's the 4GB patch that will allow applications and games to draw more than 2GB on a 32-bit system, if RAM is your issue it will help. However, I would just wait until you upgrade to a more modern OS with 64-bit system and it will most likely run without issues.
There's a work-around for the 32-bit OS limit:

1) Open an elevated Command Prompt - Start -> run -> Cmd -> right-click and Run as Administrator

2) Type: bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072

3) Reboot.

It works for Win7. Can't answer for Win8, but it *should* work, too....
I believe, if memory serves, it was developed with Unity (Confirmed). Unity tends to be a bloated mess, especially if the devs don't know how to properly optimize for memory load or otherwise.
