I bought the championship bundle but I want the new bundle with the strategy guide.... There is no upgrade option for this and I want to see it done.... lol

I would like this as well. It is indeed a very high price-tag, and even though I am willing to pay the upgrade cost, there is no way I would pay an entire new game just for that. And anyway my guess is that only people who paid for the champion edition would be willing to pay for the royal one. So an upgrade option would be appropriate.

Pre-order cancel?

Hopefully GOG will be able to help us out with this but unfortunately this sort of behavior coming from Obsidian Entertainment makes me suspect that we've got another Alpha Protocol on our hands... :/

I emailed support and I suggest everyone do the same to ask for upgrade options for the other editions here on gog.

Obsidian releases yet another bundle, with a ridiculous pricetag I must add.
People shouldn't buy this. Obsidian is obviously milking people, luring them into paying for... for what really? A guide. Some stories. A high-res map. Wallpapers.
There used to be a time when people got stuff like this for free. But at Obsidian you can pay double the price of the game to get this junk.

If people keep paying for extra stuff then this practice will never disappear. :(

We're currently in contact with Paradox about implementing the upgrade. We don't know whether we'll be able to have it ready before the game's release

This is the response I got from support so I would suggest all who want to upgrade to the royal edition to cancel your preorders and then just rebuy the Royal edition now or closer to march, that's what I am doing.... I hope this helps you all

Yeah I decided to contact GOG about canceling the pre-order as well but so far nothing happened yet

I think it takes about a day for them to answer. It was like that for me, the next day they asked me to cancel it and return the paid amount as store credit, I then repurchased the game(royal edition obviously) using the store credit and the difference I paid normaly. Just wait that you will soon get answered.

How do I cancel a preorder of champion edition?

You have to contact support, then instead of "games support" choose "contact us", then "My orders, payment and downloading games", on the tab "problem type", choose preorder cancelation and choose the approproiate order or "not applicable" if appropriate. Lastly explain the situation and send the ticket. It takes about a day for them to answer(it was with me). And if it goes like with me they will ask you to give your money as store credit, wich you will use to repurchase the apropriate edition (royal edition). You will of course have to pay the difference. That's it! Best of luck!
