Is there a way to make Pharaoh run in higher resolution than 1024x768 and in wide screen? a lot of older games can be tweaked a bit to have it

Has that page been edited so cleopatra.7z is missing now? I only see the cleopatra.zip file located in the discussion of the game.

The patch is still available from that website. Eventually you need to rightclick the download link and select "save under/as".

How do I install it using PlayOnLinux?

Choose your desired resolution from the archive. Then copy the matching exe to your game dir and replace the original (make a backup copy of it first, in case sth. doesn't work).

I generally recommend extracting the exe you want to the Desktop, rename it (eg Pharaoh1080 for the 1080 HD hack), then right click the shortcut, click Cut and then find the folder for the original exe and paste the file in. That way, you can have multiple resolutions without overriding the original EXE :)
