I had the weirdest stutter while playing. The game just stopped responding for like 200ms at a time every second. Did everything: Vsync, thread affinity, bit depth, compatibility modes. Nothing worked to fix this specific problem. What was causing it was rivatuner's "Global" profile, so turn it off to play these games(pharaoh, emperor, zeus, caesar 3).
