I have a black screen when the P+C and Z+P cutscenes are playing and I can still hear sound. I already tried the fix in which you make the games run on a single processor and this still has not changed or fixed my issue.

I also have a similar issue with the cinematics being pixelated and flashing randomly. There has never been any official fix to this issue that actually works (copying the cinematic files from the CD version of Pharaoh does not work)

Shukaku: I also have a similar issue with the cinematics being pixelated and flashing randomly. There has never been any official fix to this issue that actually works (copying the cinematic files from the CD version of Pharaoh does not work) EDIT: Apparently installing the GOG.com version of Pharaoh and Cleopatra causes corruption to CD versions (my CD version of Pharaoh only shows the very same problems as the GOG edition)
I got a reply from GOG support here is what they said for me to try on my laptop: Hello

Please try and follow the steps described in this tutorial (selecting exactly the same options as shown on the images is crucial) and try if the movies play with this workaround.

Please try installing the RAD Video Tools:

Downloading RAD Video Tools allowed me to at least see that the bik files themselves are completely fine. The issue appears to be how they are loaded when the Pharaoh game actually starts. Also, I think it may be due to a graphics card update since the CD version also does not work properly either.

EDIT: I found the cause! If you are getting issues playing videos on your secondary monitor (ie, the one being listed as Monitor 2), switch to the primary monitor (ie the one listed as Monitor 1) and it should go away. This happened to me with the cinematics (they appeared garbled on my 1920x1080 monitor but not on my 1680x1050 monitor)
