I did play this game back in the day and rediscover that PEG never got and update from SSI. I have played opengeneral and it has the whole Western faction campaign. I have some old files myself for this, but not all of them seem to work.
There is a mod on moddbDOTcom called: People's General Shock & Awe.

I found something called: People's General Red Danger
"PG Red Danger is user made expansion pack of strategy game - People's General "

Any other suggestions?

Thanks I have seen this version of peo in the past, but I have done it for many years. But thanks for finding it again for me. I tested the PeG030 its what im looking for, but it runs slow on my system. It has not been updated since august 2007 so its over decade ago. If there was a way to get it work. I might look at the forum one day.
