Hi all,

We have uploaded, at long last, the Russian version of Pathologic! Please check your game shelves and look through the drop down menu for the Russian version of the game! Thanks and have a nice day! :)

Hey there! I bought and downloaded Russian version of the game and there are some problems:
1) Saves from original Buka's 1.1 version don't work and cause game crash after loading
2) There is no "Hand combat" option in Contols screen. Also, if you will look at data/init.cfg file you will find line: "bind x handcombat", but pressing x doing nothing. If you will try to bind it to another key - same effect.
I hope that you can contact with game devs, because official russian-speaking forum is almost dead :) These problems are minor, but a bit annoying.

Hi, guys. I'm wondering if I should buy this version, or look in the local junk stores for the official Russian release?
People complain about hand combat, as noted by JonnyMuff, and sound/Lip Movement problems.
So, those of you, who have bought the game, is it functional?

I've experienced the same problem as topicstarter there (dialog with Big Vlad on Day 6 is not started).
I've also experienced bug with Theatre Key on Day 4 (though it's said in walkthrough, that this bug is fixed by patch).
And this strange thing with key for "Hand Combat" - it's mentioned in init.cfg, but is absent in Game Options and doesn't work in Game.
My guess is that GOG Russian version has only partially installed patch.
So I decided to play into original 2CDs version from Buka (gladly I bought it long time ago and disks are still OK) + patch 1.1 (in this case it should be set manually).
P.S. Another difference is that GOG's version is approximately 2.7 GB, while Buka's size is only 1.8 GB.
The reason is that data archives (such as Actors.vfs or Ggeometries.vfs) are unpacked in GOG's version.
Don't know why.

Привет.
Не думаю, т.к. имя файла-установщика игры (содержит номер внутренней GOGовской версии) осталось прежним: "setup_pathologic_russian_2.0.0.3.exe".
Сетап, в котором наблюдались вышеописанные проблемы, называется также - тоже версии 2.0.0.3.
