Hi there,

i do not understand why its again like in Pathfinder 1.
If you go monk for example and wear robes e.g. and pick the magic armor buff mythic feat, you can better tank later than ANY char with heavy armor.

That just breaks immersion for me. Pls give us a mythicv feat/ability that let heavy armor users be the best tanks in the game. Or atleast let them be equal:)

Just a wish from a fan.

greetings and keep working on that fine game :) its fun, but could be even better with such a new talent.
The definition of a tank is a bit of a discussion point here. Because toughness and agility are two different concepts.

If we are talking monks they are not particularly good at surviving damage, rather they are good at evading damage.

In addition classes with heavy armor are not all meant to be tanks; it provides a means of increased survivability rather that define a class.

If a monk gets caught flat-footed (unaware of an enemy attack at the start of combat) the character will loose a lot of AC, while a wearer of heavy armor will not. In the same vein a spell or effect that relies on touch can easier hit a character that wears heavy armor (and is most likely less mobile) than an agile character like a monk.

If it come to taking damage characters who are proficient with heavy armor on average gain also more hit points and would be able to 'tank' damage much better.

A class with armour that gains armor besides being able to wear heavy armor but is not agile like a monk is the stonelord; a paladin archetype that grants natural armor and damage reduction as he levels up. Plus the stone lrod comes like stalward defender with a defensive stance which increases armor even further.
this game is nothing like Pathfinder I

i found PF1 crap but i absolute love this game
as for your "tank" problem evade and armor is not the same deal
like Dungeonfrog already explained
I can see this as being an issue. it's really due to the very loyal adaptation of pathfinder 1e mechanics (where ac as a mechanic just breaks down after level 8 or so), and should be taken to paizo rather than owlcat. i did find in kingmaker that the defender prestige class offered enough ac to be workable, but you had to have 13 int for combat expertise to tank in heavy armour. in WotR this likely wont be enough due to the obscene bonuses of some enemies though
