-Rimiu-: Ah this turned into a Headache real fast lol. Jaethal Will be Perception too so I have 2 characters going for that. Guess I will take the suffering in A1 with removing armor on val and add Jubi in A2 and run with 5 people and lvl a bit slower.

Thank you very much.
Running through the game again atm. I was wrong. You can disarm traps and locks without removing armor. Not sure if it was changed recently of if it's my memory playing tricks on me, but there you go.
Hey InEffect, great builds so far, just a question regarding alternatives to the LG Robes, also to note im playing on hard not unfair.

Running the Sword Saint / Vivisector and started LG, but it looks like i may trend outside of it. I've already taken the monk levels and i'll be LG at the start of kingdoms for the bulliten boards so thats fine, but that means i'll lose out on the LG robes. What would be the best alternatives/where would i find them?

There is always an atonement scroll at any cleric to revert you to initial alignment. It's gonna be fine. Alignment is a load of bull both in pnp and in-game as far as I'm concerned anyways. Just do whatever you feel like and pay 3k gold for the mechanical advantage once or twice a game.
Great guide, especially for companion.
Can I ask for your advise, how to make a viable pure wizard for hard and unfair?
Not just for power gaming by for role-playing purpose as well, always want to have a pure wizard that can cast every spell for every occasion : )

Thing is due to how the game works wizards end up the exact opposite. They can afford to stock only what they are sure they can use, so, in effect, wizard ends up more narrow than a sorc.
That aside, I'd go for glutton conjuration+necro. At least you get more slots that way and enchantment really only has heroism of what you could've wanted and those you can get elsewhere, while abjuration you don't need as your AC will suck either way.

Thank you so much for your quick answer !!
Time to role a new character, I am playing an elf-wizard based on Nerd commando's wizard build.
it's feel good but you are right, somewhat lack luster compare to Sorc.

Follow up on your answer:
1/ If I want to achieve that 'god-wizard- felling, of battle field control and CC enemy to death.
would you think your Sylvan Sorc build would be a good place to start?

2/ If I wanted to role a new glutton wizard anyway, and focus only on DC base CC spells, should I bother to Spell Focus on Necro ?

Once again, thanks for your answer, feel like talking to a celebrity !

first conjuration foci, then necro foci. Sylvan sorc from unfair guide pretty much has the spell-list you'd want. Can add a few on the side, but that's pretty much what you'd likely use. There is also a blighted theurge that's basically a souped up version of glutton wizard, but it doesn't work as MC cause theurges take forever to come online.

Hey,

I restarted the game 4 times already because of build issues and play style. I always play my main character in every rpg games as a two weapon fighting melee front line dps/off tank. I spent my time with Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and the like since and this Pathfinder is quite a new thing next to those.

Effortless fighter for P-Stache by InEffect looked like the best for me as far as now because all of the different restrictions and the harder character making with the stat points.

I checked estocs, longswords, scimitars and can't decide what is best to go with. I have a love towards scimitars now, always wanted to try a build like that.

I read a lot on characters and as far as I see, a pure fighter class is very mediocre and lagging behind later on next to multiclasses.

I would like to make a dual wielding scimitar build if this is possible with which I can actually enjoy and beat the game.

Human ( can change this for better stats if need be )
Chaotic Good
Dual wielding scimitars
Dps/off tank
-->this is a must.

I would appreciate any thoughts, help, words on how to achieve this.

Since CG will lock you as an armor user being an arcane at that will be hard. And melee sorc will not have enough spares to support d/w. So I guess you are left with longsword vivisectionist. Just go with an arcane protector in the off-hand till you get perfection. Something like STR vivi16/F1/Slayer3. Feats you'll absolutely have to fit would be
dodge/imp unarmed/crane/crane wing/crane riposte, TWF feats... outflank. Focus/dazzle/shatter too.
for a race I'd go with motherless. Extra attacks never hurt anyone and 12 starting int is enough.
I'd also go with 13 starting dex with a shield fore lvl1 and grabbed twf with a dex belt from manticore a lot later. That decision is also easy since you'd want arcane protector for a while, so boosting number of off-hand attacks is not paramount so you will have time to wait for a +4 dex item. Plus you will have 2 extras with motherless bite and feral(and will use feral claws in A1 as well since you won't have the time to grab twf feats or weapon feats, really).

I guess you could do it with scimitars... If you really insist on using inferior option for whatever reason. Will cost you crit, 2 ab, 2 ac and inability to find non-magus scimitars for 2/3 of the game.

Thank you ! I appriciate the information, will see how this works out on the long run.
I'm doing Varnhold right now and I'm following your guide.

I got 1 problem

>Bard - Combat Trick > Dazzling Display

for Merc1 has no feat selection at that lvl. Did I maybe do something wrong?

Edit: Since it's only "Challenging" it's not a problem even if I messed up right? from what I can see I can skip "Skill Focus: Persuasion " take dazzling there and Shatter last?

Edit: Seems like it fixed itself at lvl 7 where I could take the missing feat.

Fixed it, Thanks for the feedback.

I, have to thank you. Without your builds and guides I probably wouldn't have played this game much.
A little bit of feedback if it's allowed. I'm playing the Tripping balls build from you.

I'm currently lvl 11 and it doesn't really feel like it's "online" yet. AC seems to be very low. From what I can see it comes to fruition at 13... I think. So far everything is getting tanked by my 2 Leopards which have like 48 AC buffed already and my Bear druid is at barely 30. I can see why you said its better for lower difficulties (I'm playing on Challenging). I still decided to play it as I like shapeshifter druids. Bear Druid With Wings and halo on the neck looks super funny too.
While not strong it's still a fun spec and I intend to finish my playthrough with this. Currently half done with season of bloom. I'm not sure if my level is too low. I'm worried about not being able to get Persuasion check XP (I do have a Sylvan Sorc for that but I guess I will have to share the XP or even boost her level as she seems to be the strongest member by far right now).

Sylvan Sorc merc seems really strong so far.

Vallerie Bard build is fun and has nice buffs but unequipping armor for rebuffing is a bit annoying.

Jaethal... Feels a bit... I really don't know. Maybe I'm not using her correctly. She doesn't really have enough heals nor does she deal enough damage. She has lots of spells but none feel really impactful for me right now. I'm using the cleric build with your sample spellbook.

Jubilost. Feels great. Lots of skills and His alchemic kit is absolutely amazing.

Using only your builds so far. I haven't run into any good equipment yet so amybe thats why certain characters feel weak.

Cloak of the winter wolf seems to work with bear shapeshift and gives me free trip attempts which is nice. I don't have bite attacks so I don't get how its getting triggered.

I want to say thank you again for your help and your builds.

Well yeah. That's largely a meme build. The AC can be fixed to quite a degree just by grabbing 2 arcane protectors that do meld into your shapeshift. That's 6AC right there. I probably will publish a proper feyspeaker shifter one day. That's a lot of math, though so maybe not now.

Persuasion checks can be pased even with 7 Cha. Just stack buffs and items, Ice cream helps too and there is a +6 belt in the same dungeon Just buff yourself and don't buff val for it..
Jae lore-friendly build is not the best you can do with her. Inquisitor basic kit in general is kinda meh and her god doesn't provide anything useful either. She makes an ok-ish cleric or vivi... And a half-decent bard. That's pretty much what she does.
30AC shouldn't be the case. Monk AC alone should bring you higher than that. Plus fighting defensively+AC items..,
