I heard people here in the forum talking about 1.0.8c hotfix.

Will I get this when I get home today?
At the moment it shows 1.0.8b in the account for me.

But the changelog for 1.0.8 (11/10/2018) got added today.

1.0.8c is like 2 days old now. it is reasonable to expect 1.0.9 today or tomorrow. don't see it in downloads but it auto-updated to it for me.

Yeah, would be nice to know if we get a patch or not without being forced to use clients.

I was really impressed so far with GOG and the rapid availability of those files.

I believe OP is referring to:

Patch (1.0.7 to 1.0.8b), English

which is the most recent and advanced patch available to http and GOG Downloader users.

Maybe the galaxy-free version is not affected by the 1.0.8b bug?
But even then, this should be communicated.

So far I could play... but did recently start over because auto-kingdom is boring.

Excellent question.

Not sure we can apply today's 1.0.9 patch because some of us are on 1.0.8b.

Patch 1.08B was quickly removed and replaced by 1.08C. It (B) broke all the quests in Flintrok Grasslands. I presume that GOG simply hasn't renamed the patches accordingly. I also presume that 1.07 to 1.08b should read 1.07 to 1.08c. Therefore you should download whichever patch you need and apply it. If it is the correct one it will install. If it is not, it will refuse to install.

Can't apply 1.0.9 patch. redownload 1.0.8b (already apply says the patcher). so i guess the 1.0.8c is missing.

Same here, the patch is not supported by my game's version. In fact, patch 1.0.9 full name is 24378 to 24465 and patch 1.07 to 1.0.8 was, and still is, 24296 to 24344. It seems there is a gap between 24344 and 24378.

I don't use Galaxy
