Made a patch recently that restores functionality for Outlaws and makes it more playable on modern systems.

https://www.moddb.com/games/outlaws/downloads/outlaws-unofficial-restoration-patch

What's included:
- Preconfigured dgVoodoo wrapper for DirectDraw (software), Direct3D, and Glide renderers
- DxWnd CD Audio Proxy for CD music playback (in-game music volume slider doesn't work, so you'll need to edit the volume in winmm.ini)
- Patched olwin.exe that fixes functionality for the backspace, shift, and capslock keys for text entry (save file names, player names, and multiplayer chat)
I'm sure that you need only windows 95 compatibility mode to fix this problem, not an unofficial patch

Tried that, doesn't really help.

Thank you, I was having troubles running it and now it runs flawlessly.

So this got rid of the problems with loading in and out of menus, but it replaced a lot of the textures with just pure white.

That's weird.... I haven't run into that issue at all so I got no idea, sorry. Maybe try changing renderers?
Thanks for the patch. It fixed two problems that I had with the original GOG installers. The doors would take 15 to 30 seconds to open and the screen would stay red after taking damage. Only a few water textures turned solid white, everything else looked good.
