If you need to reinstall the game in Windows or to move on another computer you can copy the files from the directory %appdata%\omerta\ so you will still have your multiplayer gang and its progression.

To open the directory in windows you have to press the key combination "windows button + r" and then paste in the field "%appdata%\omerta\" without the quotation marks.
