Click "Main" chose NOXSolution and install it. It helped me getting my game to run. No further steps required.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell that you'll have to click "main". However I cannot see a "patch" link there. The link I used is called NOXSolution and it is the second in the row. Anyway - glad that it helped. Will edit my OP and add "click main".

Thank you very much! It is the only thing that solves every problem I had with Nox. Before I could only run it in windowed mode with DxWnd, which was a hassle. And now I can play it as I did back then.
Superb! Sortd my flickering locked main screen.

Thank you!!!

Oh, good, it's not just me!
It's bringing up a blank page for me. Hmm... This game used to work fine on Windows 10. Did they do another patch that messed things up?

Fantastic - thanks for bringing this to my attention! This has fixed the issue that I have with older Westwood games on new NVidia drivers in Windows 7 where bottom half of the screen rendered is displayed in the top half of the screen (i.e. you can only see half the picture).

I might have to ask them how they managed this!
Oddly enough, after the previous Windows 10 Update, before this new Win. 10 update they're trying to push onto everyone, NOX works fine again. It may have been an issue with Windows 10 compatibility. Weird. Works fine now. Just letting everyone know.

EDIT: Also, after installing a game (any game), try restarting the computer and see if it works afterwards. That may be the issue sometimes as well.

Fixed my problem too
Problem at end of intro screen froze with flickering background
Alt+Tab then re-enter game to see first set up screen but mouse effectively disconnected
Should GOG think of incorporating this in the release ?
Incidentally Nox has worked fine in the past so I think this probably is an upgrade issue
I am on W10 Pro x64 build 14393 (which has had some upgrades recently)
I have an AMD Radeon card (which hasn't needed an upgrade recently)
On trying to download this .exe file Windows defender kicked in and found malware.

Windows Defender says there is a trojan in the file and blocks it!

Ever heard of the term "false positive?".

Absolutely. I'm assuming you some sort of evidence or proof that this is a false positive?

It would be pretty stupid of me to download a file that Chrome and Windows Defender both identified as a trojan based on one sarcastic forum post.
