First You Need Windows 7 or later with external Display/audio hooked up and have extra keyboards and controllers ready
Second Download ibik.ru AsterV7 MultiSeat and register for $25 a year on Two Monitors
Third You Need To Install Both Steam client for No Man's Sky and the latest update of it
Finally Choose an Install location other than steam for a second Installation of No Man's Sky From GoG.
Thank you
It's a single player game.

Running two copies of it won't give you multiplayer, so this would be a waste of money.
Also if you bought the GoG version there would be no reason to buy the steam version, since like every other game on GoG you could install it on as many computers as you want.

It's a single player game anyway, the only thing you wouldn't see is other people's named discoveries. Which many of us don't care about anyway, especially after seeing a stupid named thing for the 100th time.
Hmm who told you it is a single player game?????

Think you might want to look bit more into the game and how it works ;)

read it extremely careful

They are using the term multiplayer and singleplayer different from what you think.

The game can be played offline it is true... but..

I don't see anything new there, unless I missed whatever you were hinting at. It has always been advertised as a single player game, with shared names. He clearly says it not what most people would call multiplayer.

sigh...

The chances of two players ever crossing paths in a universe this large is pretty much zero," he continued, noting that there are certain features and Easter eggs that will let players know when they're in the same universe(sic)
Universe should be galaxy which funny enough is a inside joke at the company as stated in one interview.

So you're agreeing it's single player? I'm trying to figure out what your point is. We already know it's single player, won't ever see anyone, can't meet, and only has shared name database.

It's obviously not an mmo or anything like that since it's not even truly multiplayer in any sense of the word.

Wrong , wrong and wrong.

The game even has possibility of pvp.

To quote the Hello Games website: If you hoped for things like pvp multiplayer or city building, piloting freighters, or building civilisations… that isn’t what NMS is.

That doesn't seem like 'possibility of pvp' to me.

Why are you repeatedly insisting this is a multiplayer game? It's not one.

Because the multi-player crowd have unusually thick skulls, which results in a limited understanding of information outside of their particular world view.

I'm quoting Sean Murray. The guy who made the game.

Here's another quote from him: 'To be super clear - No Man's Sky is not a multiplayer game. Please don't go in looking for that experience.'

What other 'leader' could people possibly be 'following'?

Presumably Sean Murray knows whether the game he worked on is multiplayer or not. I mean, Hello Games is only fifteen people. It would be hard to keep that a secret.

To quote cactus the guy you all think you are supporting... "Stop , just stop it was server problems and all of you are raging for nothing"

Nice quote mining sean though, 10 year old... might want to google that term.
