I first must admit I am not all that tech savvy. However I would think a simple install would be up my alley. Yet for some reason it will not let me download/install the english version of the game. I am currently downloading the spanish version in hopes that I can change the options to english. Is there something I am missing???

Stop downloading the Spanish version (if you haven't already completed it). You need to change your option on your game library page. It's the drop down menu where it says 'Preferred installer version'.
