I'm at the first island map and poly has vanished. I've moved onto the north shore and when Poly didn't show up after the loading screen I went back and looked for her but can't find her anywhere.

I think the last time I saw her when I was in the first cave and just made a torch, I saw her fly upwards and she never came back.

Can someone confirm if this is a bug and if theres any way to get around it?

I've tried dying and respawning to no avail and google doesn't seem to yield much answers. its 4am and i'm too tired to trawl through pages to find answers. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I think this bug has to do with Poly flying away from combat and me exiting the area during combat. Anyway I just restarted and be minful not to repeat this mistake.
