I've heard that Neverwinter Nights is one of the games where non-official content and add-ons are better than official ones.

Is this true and if so, are these mods likely to be bundled in in the future?

Thanks.
NWN has a massive modding community, and I'd certainly consider many of the top mods to be superior to the official campaigns. It's unlikely that you'll ever see user-made modules bundled into any official releases of NWN, but the user-made modules are freely available and it's quite easy to install and play them. Most modules can be downloaded at the , and if you're looking for some recommendations to start with [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_diamond/a_few_really_stupefyingly_good_modules]this thread is a good place to start.
I'd add that there's so much good quality content available that it would be impossible to really pick any reasonable amount to add into any 'official'-type release without overlooking a ton of other equally good content.

As DarrkPhoenix suggested, it's best to just cruise the vault and pick what appeals to you.

Heh, it would be rather funny to see the GOG installer size suddenly jump to over 200 GB.
I recommend adding the Player Resouce Consortium (aka PRC) hak to your NWNinstall, it does not bloat installed size and adds a tons of extra prestige classses, classes and races (you will need to install the character creator to use the last two from level 1) that you can use in the official modules or in any module you find in the vault
