Hi all,
I'm running a brand new Macbook Pro with OSX Lion. I installed NWN1 from GOG with a Wineskin wrapper. It runs just fine, but I have no sound at all past the startup screen. The music is choppy during the startup screen, and after I click play, there's no sound whatsoever.

The only specs listed about my MBP's built-in audio is that it's "Intel High Definition Audio." I've tried different combinations in the Sound Options in NWN, but nothing has worked. I have also tried it in fullscreen and windowed mode, but it's the same.

Here is what is in my .ini file:

[Sound Options]
Music Volume=0.75
Voice Volume=0.75
SoundFX Volume=0.75
DisableSound=0
3D Provider=
Environment Effects=0
Number 2D Voices=16
Number 3D Voices=16
2D3D Bias=0.00
Speaker Type=-1

I've tried inserting Dolby, Miles, and DirectSound3D in the "3D Provider" heading, but nothing seems to work so I've just left it blank. Any help would be appreciated!

I had the same problem using the same Wineskin wrapper. I figured out a solution, but it did require creating a new wrapper and then copying some files from doh123's wrapper. I'm using a CD install of NWN rather than GOG, but I doubt that makes a difference. I posted what I had to do on my blog and also on the Wineskin support site.

Hope this helps.
