This is the question. There are a lot of recent reviews (this summer) on both steam and gog which state that EE is unstable, bugs are unfixed, etc. Can you share your opinions on this?

I'd say it's about as stable as 1.69 at the moment, with the obvious difference being that it's still going to be improved, whereas 1.69 is not.

I just finished playing through the campaign a couple of weeks ago (45 hours game time), I didn't notice any bugs or instability.

This is on a Windows 10 PC; i7 6700K, 32GB ram, GTX1070.

No, it ran smoothly at 4k 60hz the whole way through
