I live in a college dorm, and I bought this game yesterday. When I try to connect to multiplayer it says "Cannot connect to Master Server." And then it brings me to the multiplayer main menu.

I can connect to other servers there without any problem, but the trouble is I want to make my own server. I'm just trying to play the Campaign with my brother, nothing more. But when I make the server and launch it, my brother can't see it on the list. He did the same thing and I couldn't see his server. I already tried turning off my firewall and antivirus, didn't work. Do I have to restart the computer after turning those off, and then try again?

I don't know what else I can do, if someone knows please help me, thank you.

It is not the master server issue that is stopping you. Don't worry about that.

The poblem will be the college firewall blocking your servr I imagine. But, it also may be that forwarding the ports on both your routers may allow one of you to host.

Good luck :)

Okay, but I have one more question. My dorm came with a router, but I bought a second router and that is what I use. There is only one Ethernet port in my dorm, and that is what I connected my second router to, but I don't know if that means it is also connected to the first router.

Basically I am asking am I going to have to forward the ports on both routers, or can I just do it for the second router I bought? I have attached a diagram to show what my router setup looks like.

Yeah...it seems to be getting a bit more complex...but you can read about it here:
