OK, I've downloaded Riven and its working. How do you Save and Exit the game in the GoG version ? And, is there anyway to activate the Zip Mode? I can't find any keys that do these functions, and there's no hints on the game screen.

I have just installed Riven but have a problem that I can not exit and save. The alt. key will not bring up the option to exit.
I just finished playing Myst and there it was easy to exit by just pressing the esc key but this won't work in Riven.
I am an old grandmother and don't know much about computers but I like to play these games.
Can someone help?

Did you try moving the mouse pointer to the top of the screen as well and clicking there?

downloaded riven ...cant save riven. when i save or save as,,, the program quits and exits. played for 2 hours and lost everything, any ideas. running windows 7

Am having same problem, unable to save segments of the game. when I use 'save' or 'save as' and hit the "save as" button at top left of screen and then hit 'quit' or 'exit' ,the game reverts to where you left it. Being knowledgable of the game it requires many 'saves' to finish the game.

Does the game crash for you when you create the save or can you make a save without issues ?

I have downloaded Riven and played it for one day. I saved the game before exiting, but when I opened it back up tonight, no saved game was there. Anyone else have this issue?

I had the exact same problem.....played for a couple of hours and went back to play but had no saved game. HELP!!!. k

So I clicked at the top of the screen, brought up the menu and clicked save as. Then the game shut itself down without saving anything. Made multiple attempts to save with the same result each time. Any suggestions?

Today i bought and downloaded RIVEN tried several times to save game it just closes and will not save i disabled U A C in vista still wont save this is such a game that to be unable to save progress makes the game useless any ideas anyone
