Hello!
I have installed RealMyst on Windows 10 through GOG Galaxy. The first issues appeared already when I started the game:

Once I clicked the MYST book and when it opens, it was supposed to show a video of the island on a page. In my case the screen is blank.

Going on with the game, I went into the basement where there is this kind-of fountain and after entering the number, the video with Atrus is also blank.

All videos on books are blank... :(

The game also crashes randomly (there is no specific point, location or action that triggers the crash)

Pls help me :)

I had a similar problem in Windows 8.1
Here is what worked for me. Maybe you do something similar in 10.

Use the compatibility setting of Windows XP Service Pack 3

Thanks for the reply. Where can I look for compatibility settings of WinXP SP3? I googled for it and it takes me to a software download which I don't trust.

No worries Xtharpe! Thank you! I fixed the issue :)

For others who don't know, just right-click the program icon and go to Properties

On properties window click the Compatibility mode and choose Win XP Service Pack 3 :)

Out of curiosity, are you trying to run RealMyst or RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition?
