Just tested RealMystMasterpiece on a notebook with a 980m (~780 Desktop and is capable of producing stable 60 FPS in Witcher II and Alan Wake with ease!) I´ve currently got for reviewing :
And the result are round 30 FPS! 30FPS in a game looking that mediocer! Ultima IX, Gothic III AND AssassinsCreedUnity are all very well optimised games in comparision to this! :D

And yes, it´s running on the Nvidia-dGPU and not the Intel-iGPU! Get six (in numbers: 6) FPS with the iGPU, normally I would expect that even the Intel HD 4600 should be capable of performing at 60 FPS in such a game...
Maybe it's locked at 30fps? Many games still are.

Sadly it isn´t, it´s just running that bad! Framerate is definitly uncapped, it goes up a little while you´re indoor...
According to an announcement from Cyan on Kickstarter realMyst Masterpiece will get an update soon, which should resolve the performance issues.

"It’s been an exciting year at Cyan, beyond the buzz of Obduction. We released realMyst: Masterpiece Edition for Mac and Windows. It’s a beautiful product that provides the ultimate Myst exploration experience. And we’ll be pushing a substantial update out for realMyst: Masterpiece Edition after the first of the year - faster, prettier, stable-er, better! "
We can just hope for the best and prepare for the worst! :D :D :D
