So, here you can share the tips & tricks that you may know/discover concerning this game.
I started a thread concerning clutch, but it seems there are a lot of small things to know :P
So I begin with one video I found here where you'll be able to see some tips and tricks, especially in the description. Here are the most important for me :

Landings
When riding an ATV, try landing more on the front of the vehicle. When riding a bike, land more on the rear. Doing so prevents that particular vehicle from crashing as easily. This is especially useful in freestyle modes.

Bigger jumps
To make bigger jumps you can double preload. Double preloading is when you preload on the bottom of a face and at the top. Just preload as usual, only preload at the very bottom of a jump. Then on that same jump, preload again at the top. This will make you go a lot farther.

Wheelie
Hold in [Gas] + [Clutch]. Hold [Gas] for about five seconds, then release. Hold [Down] and the front of the bike or ATV will go up.

Feel free to share your findings :)

I remember grinding store points by playing freestyle-mode, and doing a lot of backflips. The description in the video you linked confirms my theory that backflip gives the most points :) I can't completely remember how to do backflips though. Have you found out how to do this? I'm using a Xbox 360-controller, and the default controller-bindings in-game.

Edit: I figured it out. I needed to hold the stunt modifier-button, and push the stick up, then down while on the ramp, right before jumping (I used the D-pad for this when I played on Xbox back in the days, not the stick).

Backflips are great for getting lots of points, but you will get less points for it when you use it several times in the same session, so mix it up a little after a while and do some 360s as well :)

Damit, the time I understand well how it work on my side, you already found XD

Try to do some 360 : it's working the same way as backflips, except that it's left then right (or the contrary) instead of up then down. It gives a looot of points too :D But it's harder, because you need even more time ! And it's not easy to reception well :P

Yeah, the game decrease number of points each time you do the same figure again in the same race...
Remember that you can do multiple tricks in one jump to have points of the tricks multiplied by the number of tricks ! Easy way to gain some points by doing 2 or 3 "no hander" in one jump for example :)
I started up my Xbox today. Comparing the Xbox-version of the game with the PC-version, there seems to be some things missing from the PC-version. In the main menu on Xbox, there is a "Training"-tab, where there are many tutorial videos. It is also possible to buy pro-riders in the store, which is not possible in the PC-version.

It's no big deal :) it just seems strange that these things are missing from the PC-version, though I can understand that the names of the pro-riders are probably removed because of expired licenses.
