Hey guys. I run an LP channel, and want to record Might and Magic VI. But for some reason, FRAPS refuses to record it. Can anyone tell me why this is?

I know Fraps won't record certain modes. For instance, in dosbox, I need to set the graphics to ddraw to get the recording counter to come up. I've had other games that I can't switch modes, so I just don't record them.

Check the Fraps forums. Haven't been there in awhile, but I'm sure this gets discussed a lot.

IIRC FRAPS tends to be pretty dependant on the graphics setup of the game. Many older games use different techniques, or workarounds for things that have changed in the graphics APIs since the game was released.

Try recording with https://obsproject.com/ - It's pretty decent capturing software, I tend to use it more often than FRAPS.
