Alright, well I have the unofficial patch in the sticky installed and I've taken care of intro and music problems, and etc.

However, one thing I seem to notice, and this never happened to me when playing the CD version (Millenium Collection) on Windows XP, is that when walking/running (I have it set to auto run) it doesn't seem to run straightened out most of the time, for some reason I seem to be running at a slight angle instead of moving absolute straight forward. Same thing usually happens when moving in reverse, it doesn't move straight back and instead usually moves my party at a slight angle diagonally.

Its not what you'd call gamebreaking as its still playable, however, its quite annoying and by the time I get to the midgame this could cause a few problems in combat and moving around in dungeons or in tight spots where I don't want to fall down. Is there a way to fix this or some settings I can adjust somewhere to solve this issue?

Also I noticed that jumping seems to be a bit different than when I played the CD version on XP, I guess you could say that jumping is a bit "nerfed" compared to when I first played it. Did the unofficial patch effect jumping at all? For some reason it seems that I can't jump as high in the GOG version as I could when playing the CD version when I first played it. Maybe its nothing, maybe its just my imagination playing tricks on me, but it just seems like jumping isn't the same now as when I first played it. Is there a way to change this at all?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

P.S- I'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, its a Dell computer.

I'd check to see if turning is set to smooth for the movement issue. In regards to jumping, faster computers cause the spell to function worse than on older computers. IF GoG does release MM8, I have to hope that they are aware of this. If not, then I'm sure to see a flood of posts about the Wasp Nest which can only be addressed by the unofficial patch.

I'm not talking about the spell Jump, I'm talking about jumping in general, you know the jumping you use the X key with.

And yes, I have the turn rate set to smooth.
