Hi there, I currently own the retail Complete Edition (all M&M 1-6) However i'm unsure if theres something wrong with the discs or my computer (i run Windows 7).

When I put the discs into the drive they never load or say something similar to 'Not a valid 32 bit application'. Does these mean all the discs are Incompatible with Windows 7?

If that's the case then there is one weird thing, the Expansion Tribes of the east actually does work and install properly which is weird since the complete edition has all of the discs and if one of them can run on windows 7 shouldn't they all since they were all made specifically for the complete edition?

Make sure the discs are clean.

Then, try to run the setup file directly from the disc - right click the file and select to run it as Administrator.

Sorry i did just realise it is HOMM series i was talking about, guess i got wrong forum but its weird that 1 expansion works but the MM5 doesn't.

@ Kezardin, yeah that's what i do (right click and run as admin) but it just says 'Not a valid win 32 application'.

You should go take a look at the Heroes of Might and Magic forums here on GOG as they might know the answer to this. But that error makes it sound like the games have an issue with your 64-bit operating system. Such errors can often be circumvented... I had a similar issue trying to install Grim Fandango but it turned out there was a fan fix available that lets you run the installer, and once installed it ran fine, even better than it did on 32-bit XP.

If there is such a fan fix available for those games, you can probably find out about it at the Heroes forums here on GOG.
