In my opinion, mm7 is a bit letdown compared to mm6. at least mm6 have a mega boss. as in mm7, you just run to the water, then run to the spaceship, then run to the key item. teleport. finish.

what kind of final mission is that?
I'm inclined to agree; it would have been much more satisfying to fight Kastore (if you're light) or Resurrectra (if you're dark).

That would be interesting, but the thing is that the canon ending of M&M VII was actually going to be the dark side ending, which would've led into Heroes III Armageddon's Blade before they pansied out and replaced the Forge town with the Conflux. It's pretty obvious that Kastore was going to be the main villain in that case.
Yeah it was a story line thing, Also those damned robots are tough when your are sub level 40!!!!!!!!!!! You do not want a boss if your doing a speed run :D My party is Usualy a Ranger, Druid, Sorceror, Knight.

MM6 was a classic with better towns, But I allways felt that MM7 was better in the gameplay department. They are both must plays IMO.
I somehow succeeded in casting invisibility while on the ship. This turned the ultra-tough final level into a casual stroll towards the bridge. You'd think those droids had some sensors that could detect you through the invisibility field.
yes the "final task " should be a breeze especially after I discovered that you can lay a beacon on the Lincoln--and portal back to Harmondale to buff up and heal in peace--and dispose of the wetsuits--and reequip your stuff..

BTW--blasters are useless on the Lincoln especially if your party has strong melee abilities, and the droids can be paralyzed--the only effective spell while on the ship--if you're of the Light. Needlless to say a couple casts of shrapmetal devastates the toughest droids.
