Hello,
I have a problem with energy discs in Darkside of Xeen. You have to bring energy discs to Ellinger to reveal 3 levels of castle Kalindra and the dungeon under castle.
I have already revealed level 1, 2 and the dungeon.
But when I bring another 5 energy discs to Ellinger (I have total 10 discs in my party quest inventory now), he says: "Thanks for bringing the discs, but I still need 5 discs to reveal the dungeon" and he returns me TWO discs (from 10). (The same happened when I had 7 discs.)
It seems that game doesn´t "know" that Kalindra dungeon is already revealed and also it seems that when I bring 10 discs, he "thinks" I have only 2 discs with me.
Please could anybody help me with this bug? Have it happened to anybody before?

Or to be precise - I started play CD version of MM4, then i bought GoG version, transferred saves to MM4 - GoG version, finished MM4 and started play MM5.

Resolution:
The Ellinger event wasn't working properly. Using an extracted MAZE0056.EVT file allowed the event to complete.

I purchased the might and magic collection and have been playing it for a couple of month and i have hit the glitch with the energy disks and Ellinger. I have read the community post on this from 2011 , but I don't see anything to help me or at least I need a better explanation of what to do. The game set has played perfectly through the clouds and has just now screwed up 75% 0f the way through the dark side. If some one can explain what I new to do I will try it.

Please make a backup of your .SAV files (XEENxx.SAV and DARKxx.SAV) and send me a copy.

I have the files. How do I get them to you? Also in looking at the files when I copied them I notice that they have the original install date as a mod date. The actual game save are xeenxx.wok and darkxx.wox. do you want them as well.

Sorry to have not been specific, but I need an e-mail address to get the .sav files to you. I appreciate your help. I didn't see a way to xfer files via the gog.community site.

Please make a backup of your save files and send me a copy. How you get them to me is up to you. :-)
