Might & Magic 2:
My cleric has "SP:8 /14", when I rest at the inn my SP doesn't go up or is restored. I was grinding the Middlegate arena(green tickets) I noticed it when not even my party's HP were restored once I hit level 2. Am I missing something? The other question is what does SL mean?

I've never played the game so it's time for some random speculation:

If your party is out of food, you don't get SP back when resting.
I think SL means Spell Level.
Yeah, you will not regain health or SP if you are out of food. The other thing to check is if your cleric has some kind of status ailment, like disease. One of those (I think it is disease) specifically prevents SP from regenerating until you cure it. You can get it cured at a temple, but you will have to pay.

Check for status ailments on his/her character screen.
