- Does casting Protection from Magic helps against Eradication?
- The temples can heal it, but substract 1 endurance point from my character, same as the spell. Is there any way to heal Eradication without losing endurance points?

The only way I know of is the Resurrection Spell (Cleric - Level 7) but this will also drop your endurance by 1 point. It is best not to become Eradicated. These old games can be very unforgiving unlike the games of today.

Is that true? I thought the temples could heal it without you losing endurance.

Anyway, I don't know of any ways to heal it other than visiting a temple or using the spell. There are, however, ways to permanently increase your Endurance stat in the game, which can help you recover.

Yes, temples in MM1 make you lose 1 endurance too. Tested it myself.

That said, there is only one place where you have to be eradicated in order to complete a quest (side quest, though the reward is good). And towards the end of the game losing this 1 point is really not such a big deal. You can re-raise it and besides, you should have tons of hit points anyway...
