I am now playing MM1 and found two riddles that I know answers to (Google is a powerful tool :-)), but am wondering if there is a hint anywhere in the game what the answers should be (being back in 1980's how I would solve the riddles). Thanks.

Which riddles?
AFAIR there were some pretty obscure ones, but they don't affect the main quest.

I remember there are some riddles that are more important to the main quest, but those are fairly easy to figure out and / or there are hints for them in-game somewhere. There are some optional riddles that ask about trivia in the game itself, so if you've explored enough you should know the answers to those. Then there was one very hard one which is optional, but that one can be deduced if you've found several hints scattered around the game world.

So yeah, most riddles have hints somewhere in the game. Keep notes on things you find in your travels!

Ice princess has a riddle "Conqueror of Worlds, Maker of Dreams the greatest force of all, yet elusive it seems." Answer: Love
Warrior stronghold riddle which is needed for Lord Inspectron quest #6: "Glass that glitters, rubies that glow when I twinkle, I cast a rainbow". Answer: Crystal

That's because they are just generic riddles, albeit not the easiest riddles.

Yeah, I think you're just supposed to think about those and figure them out yourself. However, you will find more riddles which actually ask things about the game and / or have hints scattered through the game that you can find.

Yup, for example, all Og riddles, even the one which seems not to be connected with the game, have hints somewhere...

Have your tried the Cluebook that comes with the Game?

Answer to the Ice Princess riddle is given in the cluebook but the answer to the "Crystal riddle" is not. It is not a big deal as I found them elsewhere and can continue in the game. I was just wondering if the answers were hidden anywhere in the game itself and it seems that they are not. Thanks everyone.
